Jelly Roll muses ‘real love is dark’ in emotional video with wife Bunnie XO

Jelly Roll has an interesting take on the true meaning of real love, and it’s pretty dark.

The wife of the country star, Bunnie XO, took to her Instagram on Saturday to share a video montage of the pair with Jelly Roll’s voiceover reflecting on what true love really means to him.

“Dark love to me is… the world could hate us, the world could be burning down and we’d be slow dancing in a burning room,” he began.

“I can’t have love like that, then I don’t want love at all,” he further declared, adding, “All my emojis even, rose, black heart, rose.”

As heartfelt clips of the spouses, who have been married since 2016, played on screen, Jelly Roll continued, “Real love is holding hands with two skeletons. Real love is getting buried by each other. Real love is… she’ll take a charge for you. Not that I would ask her to but she’d also kill for you.”

Born Jason Bradley DeFord, the rapper concluded, “Real love is dark man.”
