Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's kids hold key to King Charles' good health
King Charles is reportedly desperate to meet Archie and Lilibet
Meghan Markle’s refusal to bring her kids to the UK with Prince Harry is a rather sad situation for King Charles who is reportedly ‘desperate’ to meet with them.
Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive Show, royal commentator Chris Ship claimed the 75-year-old monarch could get a “real boost” should he is introduced to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in the wake of his cancer battle.
It is pertinent to note the Duke of Sussex is set to return to his homeland next week to attend a church service in honour of 10 years of The Invictus Games.
During the visit, he is expected to meet his ailing father at Clarence House in London for a brief period.
"The relationships are very difficult within that family and I think, yes, it would be a lot easier if Meghan weren't there,” said Chris.
"But you know it is still the King's daughter-in-law and they still have two children who are the King's grandchildren.
"You would kind of hope that they would all see each other,” the ITV News royal correspondent shared.
He explained: "Wouldn't it be nice if they did bring the kids and they all went to see granddad, because that would really give him a boost.
"Just imagine if Harry and Meghan came over with the grandchildren, if he got to see them, or one of them for the very first time.
"That would be quite something,” Ship added.
