Olivia Cooke, Jamie Bell to lead upcoming film 'Takes One To Know One'
Screenplay for 'Takes One To Know One' is being written by Nathalie Biancheri
Olivia Cooke and Jamie Bell are all set to lead Italian filmmaker Nathalie Biancheri’s upcoming film Takes One To Know One.
BAFTA winner Bell previously worked on All of Us Strangers, meanwhile, Cooke is known for her work on Sound of Metal.
The upcoming project, originally penned by writer Brooke Baker, revolves around first interaction between Eleanor, played by Cooke, and Lucas, played by Bell, in Rome.
Showcasing electric chemistry between the duo, the synopsis emphasises their shared passion for art, Italy and each other. It tells the tale of two people who have outgrown their existing relationships.
Produced by Gail Egan of The Little Stranger, Claude Dal Farra, Brian Keady, and Cooke, Takes One To Know One is being produced under banner of Potboiler, BCDF Pictures and Chippy tea Productions.
Potboiler Productions’ past projects include Academy Award and BAFTA award-winning films, including The Last King of Scotland and The Constant Gardener.
Raving over the script, Cooke said: “The script penned by Brooke is beautiful and delicious and can only be elevated more by Natalie and Jamie’s immense talent and vision. To be working with this brilliant bunch is a dream.”
Meanwhile, Cornerstone’s Alison Thompson and Mark Gooder added: “We fell instantly in love with Brooke’s superb script, Nathalie’s bold and original take on the romance movie, and our two lead actors could not be a more perfect fit.”
