Kate Middleton has continued to honour the legacy of the late Queen Elizabeth II in years after her death.
The late monarch, who would have turned 98 today, passed down an opulent collection of her jewelry pieces to the Princess of Wales, a telling sign of their strong bond.
Some of the most valuable collections that now belongs to Kate include the Nizam of Hyderabad necklace, three-strand pearl necklace, diamond and pearl leaf earrings, Cartier halo tiara, and more.
Being the eldest granddaughter-in-law through Prince William, the late Queen is believed to have relied on the two too much to maintain stability in the monarchy during her reign.
“More than anything, knowing she can rely on Kate and [William] to handle matters in her absence is the greatest comfort she could ask for,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively in August 2020.
Royal expert Bethan Holt previously told the outlet in April 2022 that mom of three often took fashion inspiration from the queen.
"Many of the things that we see the Duchess of Cambridge doing today are things that she's learned from the queen," the Queen: 70 Years of Majestic Style author said at the time.
