Prince William stepped out in public for the first time since Kate Middleton announced her diagnosis with an undisclosed form of cancer.
Speaking to TalkTV, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield claimed the Prince of Wales’ latest appearance was an encouraging sign that the princess was recovering well from the disease.
William and Kate jetted off to Norfolk estate in a bid to escape spotlight on during the kids’ Easter break from school.
The royal expert explained the royal unapologetically prioritizes his family over the crown, hence his decision to step out for his first royal engagements in nearly a month bred optimism among royal watchers.
“The fact that we saw him in good spirits, he showed up you know he was engaging and charming with everybody there,” Kinsey shared.
“I do believe that is a good result and… it should give us some peace that the Princess of Wales is hopefully feeling okay at home and recuperating and improving as best as she can under the circumstances,” she added.
Schofield also noted William’s decision to pull out of the memorial service of the late King Constantine of Greece in the last minute underscores his priorities.
