Cristiano Ronaldo's last chance to get honour held by Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe
Will Al Nassr captain finally receive honour already held by his rival in Euro 2024?
You can't find a football player who is perfect but there are several whose performances are considered perfect by French newspaper L'Équipe but surprisingly Cristiano Ronaldo is not among them.
The Portuguese legend has played in three of Europe's top five leagues during his illustrious career with Manchester united, Juventus, and Real Madrid and is often considered the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) by fans.
Even with five Ballon d'Ors, 33 trophies, and a European Championship under his name, the Al Nassr captain has not been fortunate enough to get L'Équipe's 10 out of 10 rating, according to talkSPORT.
It important to note that the newspaper has given out a rating of 10 only 17 times to 15 different stars. But why not Ronaldo?
Fairly, it's notoriously difficult to be awarded their perfect score.
Additionally, the 39-year-old footballer did come close with a nine when he scored a hattrick against Atletico Madrid with Juventus to win 3-2 on aggregate and reach the Champions League quarter-finals in 2019.
Meanwhile, his arch-rival Lionel Messi has managed the feat twice, alongside Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland and more.
This summer, the Portugal skipper is set to take a break from the Saudi Pro League as he is scheduled to join his country's national team at the European Championships in Germany.
This could be his last chance to score a full rating by L'Equipe, given that he could retire in the next few years and is currently playing in Saudi Arabia.
