Prince Harry appeared to come clean about his feelings about returning to the UK permanently by declaring his current location, the US, as his new country of residence.
In the documents lodged with Companies House for his tourism initiative Travalyst, it is stated that his ‘New Country/State Usually Resident’ is now the USA.
The section, which previously stated the United Kingdom, is noted to have been changed on June 29, 2023 – the day King Charles asked the Sussexes to vacate Frogmore Cottage.
Harry relocated to Montecito, California with wife Meghan Markle and kids after stepping down from their position as working royals in 2020.
The documents were filed earlier this week and revealed hours after his virtual appearance at the annual meeting hosted by the nonprofit organization.
During the appearance, the Spare author advocated for better treatement of the people who live in tourist spots.
“Travel and tourism relies on destinations, held together by communities, without which we have nowhere to travel to,” he said during Tuesday’s meeting. “Communities are the beating heart of travel, and we must do better by the people who are the custodians of the places we visit.”
