Charli XCX and Troye Sivan will reportedly co-headline Sweat Tour, making stops at arenas across North America in September.
According to a press release, “the tour is not only a celebration of their individual successes, but it is also a testament to their commitment to inclusivity and diversity within the music industry,” via PEOPLE.
“Fans can expect an electrifying show filled with exhilarating performances, stunning visuals, and infectious beats,” read the statement.
Charli and Sivan will also collaborate with the British alt-hip-hop/electronic star Shygirl for a special opening act.
On Wednesday, Charli also posted a tour teaser on Instagram. The brief clip features flashing imagery of the two singers, along with minimalist, brightly-coloured posters with the tour dates that appear to be inspired by rave flyers.
Sweat comes nearly one year after Troye has released his third studio album Something to Give Each Other in October 2023.
Interestingly, the project's lead single, Rush, earned nominations for best pop dance recording at best dance video at the 2024 Grammys.
To note, the upcoming live dates will also come at the time of the release of Charli’s new album Brat, which will be out on June 7.
The statement said that the 21 shows is a “highly anticipated effort among fans of the two stars, who have long been friends and frequent collaborators”.
Both Charli and Troye will reportedly hit the road together in mid-September, starting Sweat in Detroit on September 14.
The pop stars will play throughout September and October while ending the shows on October 23 in Seattle.
Meanwhile, the tickets to Sweat tour have started with a presale and fans can register for the advanced ticket sale until April 25 at sweat-tour.com.
