Meta-owned WhatsApp is releasing picture-in-picture feature for the videos.
WhatsApp, one of the most widely used messaging platforms worldwide, continues to improve every month. When it comes to updating the software, Meta has been quite reliable.
In addition to routine bug repairs and enhancements, WhatsApp adds new features every month, while the beta version adds new features nearly every week.
A crucial feature has been added to the WhatsApp beta version with one of the most recent updates. It is called picture-in-picture mode for videos. According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp for iOS 24.6.77 allows users to view videos while navigating between numerous chats or other app sections.
The picture-in-picture feature is currently available on WhatsApp, but only for YouTube and Instagram videos.
Notably, this functionality is now available in WhatsApp's most recent beta version, even when viewing videos that have been shared straight within the app.
However, it is reportedly restricted to the app's videos; as a result, using the mode while moving to another app is not possible.
