Meghan Markle is not willing to mend fences with the royal family at the expense of her kids.
Royal expert Tom Quinn told The Mirror that Prince William and Princess Kate reached out to Meghan and Prince Harry, asking them to bring their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the UK for visit.
However, the Duchess of Sussex is believed to have put her foot down and refused, owing to security threats and unwarranted media scrutiny the kids will generate.
“There is no way Meghan would bring the children to the UK,” the royal expert told the outlet.
“William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring the children and that the two couples and their families try to make up,” he explained, “but the suggestion is not leading anywhere so far."
It comes as the Duke of Sussex prepares to return to his home country to mark 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games next month.
It’s unclear whether the Suits alum will accompany the royal, as the source claimed Archie and Lilibet will only travel to the UK on a condition that Meghan does so too.
