Cristiano Ronaldo is back in the national team setup after being rested for Portugal's first friendly clash against Sweden.

He travelled with the squad to Slovenia on Monday for their final warm up game ahead of the 2024 European Championship, according to Goal.

The Al-Nassr player was seen bonding with ex-United team-mate Diogo Dalot on the Slovenia-bound flight as he shared some photographs on Instagram from their trip.

A stylish pair of glasses and diamond-encrusted watch were also shown by Ronaldo.

The 39-year-old shared three photographs with the caption: "Slovenia" on Instagram.

Ronaldo will head back to Saudi Arabia after appearing for the national team on Tuesday as Al-Nassr are set to face Al-Tai in a crucial Saudi Pro League game on Saturday.

After receiving a clear message from the team that he could have been replaced if he didn’t participate in their friendly, Cristiano Ronaldo is back with the Portugal squad.

He showed off his insane leg muscles in an Instagram upload before a clash with Slovenia, according to Goal.

Ronaldo uploaded a story to Instagram with a montage of training pictures confirming that he is back with the squad after missing their 5-2 win over Sweden.

Roberto Martinez allowed the Al-Nassr star some extra time off to recuperate from his exertions in the Saudi Pro League.
