Taylor Swift drops hint about 'The Tortured Poets Department' in voice note

Taylor Swift treated her dedicated fans who pre-saved her upcoming 11th album, The Tortured Poets Department, on Apple Music, with a special message.

Following the platform's release of the highly-anticipated record for pre-saving ahead of its launch next month, Swifties were delighted to receive a personalized voice note from the 34-year-old pop sensation.

With excitement evident in her voice, she shared her pride in the album and eagerly anticipated sharing it with her fans on April 19th. 

With seven songs flagged for containing language considered sexual, violent, or offensive, Swift is signaling a departure from her previous works. 

Among the tracks marked as explicit are Down Bad, But Daddy I Love Him, IomI, I Can Do It With A Broken Heart, The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived, Florida!!!, and the eponymous title track.

The announcement of the album came during singer's acceptance speech for her 13th Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights last month.

Swifties wasted no time speculating about the album's themes and potential references to her past relationships. 

Online sleuths quickly connected song titles to her former flames, including Harry Styles and Joe Alwyn. 

The track So Long, London sparked speculation about its connection to British-born Joe Alwyn.
