Kate Middleton’s public or any other kind of sightings have really become a matter of uncertainty, especially amid the princess’ healing period, which started in January after a royal announcement stated that she has gone through abdominal surgery, and will be taking rest.
Royal spectators now have keen eyes for an Easter appearance.
Recently, the Princess of Wales, 49 faced scrutiny over a Mother’s Day picture she posted online of her seated with her and Prince William’s three children: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.
Royal observers noted that the picture was “manipulated,” to which Middleton released a public statement admitting editing the photo.
“Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing,” read a post shared via the official Prince and Princess of Wales X account on March 11.
“I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day.”
According to Kensington Palace’s announcement about Middleton’s abdominal surgery recovery break, the Princess was slated to stay in the hospital for ten to fourteen days before returning home to rest more.
“Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter,” a statement stated, shared via the palace’s official X account.
A representative for the Princess restated the palace’s anticipated schedule at the end of February, saying, “Kensington Palace made it clear in January the timelines of the princess’ recovery and we’d only be providing significant updates. That guidance stands.”
Traditionally, Middleton and Prince William, 41 enjoy Easter Sunday with family at a church service inside St George’s Chapel, but considering the current situation, no final assessment can be made regarding this year's appearance.
