King Charles resumes Royal duties: Palace releases photos of Monarch's return
King Charles engages with ambassadors during cancer treatment
King Charles has resumed his royal duties, with Buckingham Palace releasing photographs of him engaging with ambassadors today.
The 75-year-old monarch was captured shaking hands with Algeria's Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Nourredine Yazid, and the Ambassador of Mauritania, Samba Mamadou.
Despite scaling back his responsibilities temporarily due to ongoing treatment for an unspecified cancer, he has maintained a busy schedule behind the scenes.
He also held a virtual meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Earlier in the day, King Charles was observed departing his residence at Clarence House in London to travel to the renowned royal residence for his diplomatic engagements.
Despite his health challenges, the King appeared in good spirits, offering a smile and a wave to well-wishers from his vehicle.
Charles stayed in the royal family's Sandringham estate since Buckingham Palace disclosed his diagnosis.
In February, he was photographed alongside U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
