Kate Middleton's close pal gives health update after surprise outing
Kate Middleton is expected to return to royal duties after Easter
Kate Middleton still has a substantial way to go in her recovery before she returns to her best self.
The Princess of Wales is understood to be slowly returning to her routine as she continues to recuperate at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor after undergoing abdominal surgery in January.
Speaking to HELLO! Magazine, royal author Robert Jobson revealed, "From what I hear, Kate has got into a routine again and is functioning well, but she doesn't want to rush things.
“I have spoken to people close to her and I think she is recovering well but is not quite a hundred per cent."
The future Queen of England broke cover for the first time in over two months in the wake of soaring speculations about her health.
She appeared in a car alongside her mother Carole as she drover her near Windsor Castle earlier this week.
Jobson went on to explain the current status of the monarchy which is void of “two of the star people” due to their respective health concerns.
However, he noted she will be “welcomed back” by Britons with “open arms when she’s well enough to return to royal duties.”
"She must be looking forward to that, but she also feels lucky to be able to have this time with the children and to put her recovery first,” the royal expert added.
