Zayn Malik sent social media into a frenzy as he teased fans with a sneak peek into his upcoming album.
On Wednesday, the former One Direction heartthrob took to Instagram to share a video hinting at what's to come in his new album.
With the highly anticipated release on the horizon, the Dusk Till Dawn hitmaker revealed his intention for the album, to offer fans a closer look into his personal life.
"I think the intention behind this album fully is for the listener to get more insight on me personally as a human being," Malik, 31, began.
"My ambitions, my fears," he continued, "And for them to have a connection with that, and that’s why it’s so raw, you know. It's just me writing this."
He emphasised, "I didn’t want anybody else to be in between me and the music AND the music and the people listening to it."
Shortly after the post went public with Malik’s comment, "The zrought is over," fans rushed to the comments section to express their excitement.
One fan wrote, "Screaming crying right in the middle of the class."
The second fan couldn't contain their disbelief, writing, "Can’t believe I live in the same timeline as you."
