Cameron Diaz, Keanu Reeves set for big screen reunion after 28 years
Cameron Diaz and Keanu Reeves are in talks to star together in a Jonah Hill directorial film
Cameron Diaz and Keanu Reeves are gearing up for a big screen reunion.
According to reports, the former co-stars will star together in the dark comedy Outcome, set to be directed by Jonah Hill, who will also star alongside Diaz and Reeves.
The John Wick star will play a man named Reef, a “damaged Hollywood star who must dive into the dark depths of his past to confront his demons and make amends after he is extorted with a mysterious video clip from his past.”
Details about Diaz’s character are currently under the wraps.
Reeves and Diaz previously combined their star prowesses in 1996’s Feeling Minnesota, a comedy about run-away lovers being chased by Vincent D'Onofrio’s menacing character.
The upcoming film is among the series of prospective projects of Diaz, who was convinced to return to acting by co-star and friend Jamie Foxx.
The Holiday actress stepped away from acting after starring in 2014’s Annie, to focus on her family with Benji Madden and their daughter Raddix.
She also founded Avaline wine company during the hiatus.
Release date for Outcome is yet to be announced.
