Sydney Sweeney got her grandmother an acting career too.
The Madame Web star revealed during her appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday that she called her grandmothers to Italy and got them the roles of extras in her new upcoming horror film, Immaculate.
"They'd never been to Europe. My grandy’s dream was to go to Italy, she's never left the country before, and so I surprised them, flew them there, and I let them be extras in the movie," Sweeney revealed. "They were like little old nuns in there."
The audience was shown a photo of one of Sweeney's grandmothers taking a smoke break in full costume by the Host Jimmy Fallon during the show.
"This is my grandy. She's iconic and she needed a smoke break in between takes," the actress, 26, explained of the photo. "So, we went outside, and I had to capture how amazing she looked."
Sweeney stars as a nun named Cecilia, along with Simona Tabasco, Álvaro Morte, and Benedetta Porcaroli in Immaculate. Cecilia becomes a part of a remote convent outside Rome.
But her new adventure soon turns into a nightmare when she discovers something which may not be good for her in her new residence.
Sweeney is also producing the project.
