‘Proud’ Taylor Swift prompts ‘crazy’ reaction from Travis Kelce’s teammate
Travis Kelce’s teammate reacts to Taylor Swift praising him for Super Bowl
Mecole Hardman Jr., Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs teammate got candid about Taylor Swift’s remarks to him after his Super Bowl-winning catch.
“She was like, ‘Good job, proud of you, good game.’ Like, ‘Man, it was crazy,'” the wide receiver, who caught a touchdown pass from Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes to get the team their third Super Bowl win in five seasons, revealed on the Pivot Podcast Tuesday.
“Then she said something about doing these magic tricks.”
Hardman, 25, further revealed what the singer meant by magic tricks, having met the “Bad Blood” singer, 34, previously in the season at a get-together thrown by her also 34-year-old boyfriend, Kelce.
Hardman garnered attention from Swift with a magic trick involving a deck of cards at the party.
“[When] I first met her, I was doing magic tricks with the cards — I got a few tricks I can do with the cards — and she was like, ‘This is crazy,’ and every time she sees me, she talks about it,” he added.
“So then she was like, man, you and these cards, your hands are magical, something she was saying like that,” he continued.
Hardman added, “That was kinda cool, her saying that.”
The Grammy-winning singer has been receiving tons of support from Travis Kelce’s pals and teammates, for example, Patrick Mahomes, Rashee Rice, Andy Reid, Ross Travis, et cetera, since she went public about her romance with the NFL player.
