Halle Bailey blames ‘mom brain’ for not knowing her dress’ designer

Halle Bailey has got a serious case of mom brain.

Having recently given birth to son Halo, the 23-year-old actress couldn’t for the life of her remember the genius behind her ocean-themed gown at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards on Monday.

“This is archive… of something – I don’t remember!” she told host Laverne Cox at the green carpet.

However, The Little Mermaid star cut herself some slack, saying, “But that’s OK, I can never remember, I have mom brain now, and yeah, I’m so excited to be here.”

Bailey put on a busty display at the awards show in a plunging blue and green gown adorned with an abstract pattern.

The new mom didn’t shy away from showing off her post-partum body, showing off her gorgeous curves in the figure-hugging dress.

Bailey’s appearance at the award shows comes just a few months after she gave birth to her first son, Halo, with boyfriend DDG.

Though she did not confirm the exact birthday of Halo, Bailey confirmed the news – which fans had been speculating over for months – in an Instagram post on January.

“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son,” Bailey wrote in the caption.

“Welcome to the world my halo… the world is desperate to know you,” she added.
