Meghan Markle missed golden career opportunity due to her 'pride'
As per reports, the former working royal will be turning down a lucrative offer
Meghan Markle may not be returning to the Suits spin-off.
Earlier, several reports suggested that the Duchess of Sussex would be making an acting comeback with her popular legal drama spin-off.
However, Express.co.uk recently claimed that the former working royal will be turning down the lucrative offer.
Speaking of Meghan's expected move, LA-based media finance analyst Mike Raia claimed, "This could become the costliest decision of her life and one that she may bitterly regret in years to come."
The expert added, "The female lead character, a campaigning, hotshot lawyer named Erica, was written with Meghan specifically in mind and there is little doubt she would have been paid many times her original salary."
Mike believes the mother-of-two will make "half a million dollars per episode" if she returns to Suits.
He said, "But she’s left everyone dumbfounded by brushing aside what would have been a huge opportunity."
"I can understand them wanting to move on in their effort to become real players in Hollywood. But pride often comes before a fall and Meghan’s refusal to return to acting could prove very costly indeed," the expert further shared.
