Prince William and Kate Middleton are determined to maintain the public opinion on the monarchy positive as they make strategic moves.
The royal family is reportedly working on the entire family’s image especially after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exited their senior royal positions in 2020 and moved to US.
After the couple accused the Palace of deep-rooted racism that royals have had to scramble for damage control. Following the interview, the William vehemently denied the allegations but had to work to change the public opinion.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have been known to not be generally demonstrative in public and keeping a very formal stance, especially during royal engagements.
However, after Megxit, the couple was open to loosening up in the public if it helped boost the reputation of the royal family.
“William and Kate were told they can be more affectionate in public if the mood strikes them,” a source told Us Weekly. The insider noted that’s why Kate and William have been kissing, holding hands and even touching each other’s bum (tastefully) and they ‘do it all for the crown.’
“After the queen’s passing, Kate and William started [channelling] their grief from losing her into honouring her legacy,” said the source. “They’re ready to blaze a new trail.”
