Meryl Streep still wearing wedding ring in first appearance since secret Don Gummer split
Meryl Streep and husband Don Gummer were recently revealed to have been secretly separated for six years
Meryl Streep is still rocking her wedding band six years after her separation from husband Don Gummer.
The Devil Wears Prada star, 74, and her son, Henry Wolfe, 43, were spotted on a night out for music icon Joni Mitchell’s 80th birthday party in Los Angeles, California, alongside Goldie Hawn, Cyndi Lauper, and Anjelica Hutson, and other A-listers at Smoke House in Burbank.
Photographs obtained by the Daily Mail showed the three-time Oscar-winner in high spirits, notably still wearing her wedding ring, as she made a glamorous arrival at the eatery to celebrate the legendary songstress’ milestone birthday.
For the outing, the Mamma Mia! actress stunned in a black, latex button down blouse, gray dress pants, and black pointed-toe booties.
The sighting came just two weeks after Page Six confirmed that Streep and Gummer, 76, have “chosen lives apart” after four decades together, even though they will “always” care for each other.
“Don Gummer and Meryl Streep have been separated for more than 6 years,” a spokesperson for Streep told the outlet.
Streep, lauded as one of the greatest actresses of her generation, and Gummer, a Harvard-educated sculptor, were last seen together publicly at the 2018 Oscars.
Meanwhile, Streep has continued to rock her wedding band, even wearing it while receiving the prestigious Princess of Austrias Award presented by the Spanish royal family in Oviedo, Spain, the same day the bombshell about her marriage dropped.
