Kate’s 'commoner' status makes her 'perfectly suited' to be Queen
Kate Middleton raised question over her prospective approach as a future monarch due to her commoner status
Prince William and Princess Kate have been tipped to revolutionize monarchy after eventually taking over from King Charles.
Taking to Reddit, a user reflected on the prospect of the Prince and Princess of Wales taking the reigns of Britain in an open-ended question.
In the post, they noted that they have been faced with conflicting opinions over their reign, owing to Kate Middleton’s commoner status.
British monarchists shortly flooded the comments with theories of their own, with many agreeing on the opinion that the princess is the “biggest asset the royal family has now”.
“Perfectly suited to the job of queen,” a user expressed.
“She is spectacular. She is wonderful as Princess of Wales, and she will make a wonderful Queen as well,” another said of the mom of three.
A third user defended her commoner status by listing down the qualities she brings to monarchy ”in enormous quantities,” including ”charm,” ”wealth,” and most importantly, ”a common touch.”
“Some may be unsure about Charles and Camilla, but I am firm the monarchy will have a renaissance under William and Catherine,” they added.
