Theo James expecting second child with wife Ruth Kearney
Theo James, wife Ruth Kearney will welcome baby no. 2 this summer, confirms insider
Theo James is set to become a father for a second time with wife Ruth Kearney two years after birth of their daughter.
An insider revealed the news to Us Weekly, sharing that the Divergent star and the Irish actor are pregnant with their second baby.
The source said the duo “are expecting their second baby,” adding “They are both wildly excited to be parents again.”
Kearney, sparked pregnancy speculation in April after sharing a series of social media snaps, is “due late this summer,” the insider spilt to the publication
James and the Sanditon actor met while attending the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in England and went on to tie the knot in 2018.
The Time Traveler's Wife star was asked by Evening Standard in March 2020 whether the two actors’ eyes met while “huddled in leotards pretending to be mice” at the school theater.
To this, the Hollywood star said, “Yeah!” adding that they were “being frogs. We did all that animal (expletive).
James gushed over Kearney, saying, she as a wife is “very sanguine, thoughtful and funny,” while noting their relationship “made sense pretty early on.”
“It’s interesting being together this long because we have navigated through the very beginnings of our careers,” he said.
