Ariana Grande got overwhelmed at New York premiere of her new movie, Wicked: For Good.
In the short viral clip, Grande can be seen surrounded by a frenzy of photographers shouting for her attention.
According to forensic lipreader Jeremy Freeman, the visibly disturbed pop star appeared to gesture for calm, saying, “If you could… my anxiety.”
The crowd’s shouting eased leading the Thank U, Next crooner to comment, “This is so peaceful, see?”
The incident came just days after Grande was rushed by a fan in Singapore which reportedly triggered her PTSD.
Few days before the New York premiere, Grande had a terrifying encounter at her film premiere at Universal Studios Singapore.
As she walked along with her costar Cynthia Erivo, a fan stormed the red carpet and physically grabbed her.
Later identified as Johnson Wen, the man rushed past security and latched onto Grande wrapping his arm around her.
Erivo took immediate action and came to Grande’s rescue.
She shouted at Wen and threw herself between him and Grande until security tackled him.
The distressed American singer tried to regain composure.
The incident sparked concern among fans as it left the singer traumatized.
For the unversed, the highly anticipated sequel is set to release on November 21, 2025 in US.
