Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal will be sharing the screen again in The Beatles biopic, and the Normal People star could not be more excited.
The 29-year-old actor is currently promoting the much-anticipated Hamnet, in which he stars alongside Joe Alwyn, Jessie Buckley, and others who make up the star-studded cast.
Right after this movie, the BAFTA winner has the exciting biopic lined up, which will have multiple instalments.
Talking to the press about his new project, Mescal told Us Weekly that he cannot wait to work with his Foe costar again, “She’s just one of my best friends and an unbelievable actress, so I can’t wait to get into those scenes with her, yeah, down the line.”
The Aftersun actor will play Paul McCartney in the biopic, while Ronan will star as Linda McCartney. Whereas Joseph Quinn will appear as George Harrison, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr and Harris Dickinson as John Lennon.
This comes after Mescal recently met up with the music icon and got to know him before starting the filming.
“To spend any time — it’s a crazy sentence to say that I’ve spent time with that man, let alone play him,” he gushed in an interview at the time.
The first part of the biopic is scheduled for release in April 2028.
