Bomb found near school

LAHORE

An explosive device was found near a girls’ school in the Kotlakhpat limits in the wee hours of Sunday.

Police said a passerby informed the police after spotting a suspicious material lying near a girls’ school in Koh-e-Noor Society.

Police reached  the place on information. 

A team of the bomb disposal squad also reached there and defused the bomb. Police collected forensic evidences from crime scene and registered the statements of the eyewitnesses. 

Police said explosive material was packed in a canister.
