The provincal government has imposed a ban on swimming in the beaches of the metropolis on Valentine’s Day, February 14, after imposing Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
In a notification issued by the home department on Saturday, it read under Section 144, the relevant SHOs are directed to registered cases against all those violating the order.
The ban has been imposed on the recommendation of the Commissioner Karachi, who had suggested the provincial department to impose the ban on swimming at Karachi beaches due to high tide.
