LAHORE: Famous classical singer Ustad Hamid Ali Khan said on Sunday that music was facing a decline in the country due to sub-standard poetry.
Talking to APP he said the majority of music companies had wound up and hence the medium of promoting music industry was also not available at present.
Despite the prevailing situation regarding music there were a lot of people who wanted to enjoy classical music.
He said that his two sons Wali Nayab and Inam had lent his vocals to some Indian films while Wali Nayab had also started acting in the films.
He said that Wali Nayab is playing a lead role in an upcoming film ‘Ishq Positive’.
