WASHINGTON: The United States and its allies targeted Daesh (also known as Islamic State) militants with 21 strikes in Iraq on Friday and two in Syria, the US military said on Saturday.
Four of the strikes in Iraq were near Hit, striking a large tactical unit and 30 Islamic State boats.

In Syria, one strike destroyed seven Islamic State rockets and a mortar system near Manbij.
