PUC to foil every bid to destabilise state institutions: Ashrafi
ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi has said that PUC will foil any bid to destabilise institutions and hatching differences to make collisions within state institutions.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday at Jamia Masjid Mahaz bin Jabal Islamabad, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi asserted that civilised nations use to accept verdicts of the judiciary open heartedly, adding that PUC would contain every bid and conspiracy relating to destabilise state institutions.
While lauding decision of Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa to deploy Pak-security troops for defence and sanctity of Harmain Al Sharifain, Tahir Ashrafi stated that it is the responsibility of every Pakistani to remain steadfast for defence and security of Harmain Al Sharifain. “Pakistan's security forces are being deployed in Saudi Arabia for training and consultative mission which will prove very fruitful in strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia,” he said. “Pakistan Ulema Council fully endorses decision of Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa,” he said, adding that some political sections in the country are baselessly criticising this decision due to incomplete information.
Commenting on prevailing political scenario in the country, Ashrafi appealed to political leadership of the country to demonstrate political maturity and stay away from leading country towards political anarchy. He said, “Some political organisations in the country are playing dual roles to destabilise Parliament and democracy in the country.” If political parties had demonstrated political maturity on Panama issue, it could have been settled in the Parliament instead of taking it in the court,” he said.
He said Pak-security troops are being dispatched to Saudi Arabia in accordance with an agreement between governments of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia but some elements are demanding to announce international cities' status for Makkah and Medina with sole objectives to make anarchy and chaos in these holy cities. “These demands are completely in negation of the teachings of Quran-o-Sunnah and entire Muslim Ummah rejects these demands for announcing international cities' status for Makkah and Medina.” He said.
Tahir Ashrafi also suggested to call an international conference in Makkah with title of, "Tahafuz Harman Al Sharifain" in the chair of Khadim-e-Harmain Al Sharifain Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz to contain these conspiracies in accordance with the Islamic Shariah.
PUC chairman also said that Qadiyani leader Mirza Masroor has directed his followers to visit Harmain Al Sharifain with objectives of making chaos inside Harman Al Sharifain; therefore government of Pakistan should include column of "Finality of Prophethood Faith" in forms of Haj and Umrah. “In accordance with unanimous decree of Islamic Ummah, Qadiyani are declared as infidel and entrance of infidels inside Harman Al Sharifain is strictly banned,” he said.
Meanwhile, leadership of PUC also thanked Saudi leadership for inviting Tahir Ashrafi to deliver address as Muslim scholars' representatives in 32nd Janavirah programme. “Silence on part of leadership of Muslim world on prevailing atrocities on the Muslims of Syria is very regrettable, said Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi.
He urged on leadership of PUC and Wafaq ul Masajid Pakistan to arrange special prayers in Friday prayers for the Muslims of Syria.
