LAKKI MARWAT: The police arrested a couple and recovered three women kidnapped from Punjab, police said on Monday.

It was learnt that acting on a tip-off a party of Darra Pezu Town Police Station led by Station House Officer (SHO) Abdur Rauf raided the house of an outlaw, Misal Khan, in Langerkhel Pakka village. The police arrested one Mian Khan along with his wife Irshad Bibi, hailing from Pindi Bhattiyan in Punjab, as they were in league with the outlaw, Misal Khan, in kidnapping women from Punjab and bringing them to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The recovered women were identified as Sumaira Bibi belonging to Sargodha, Shakeela Bibi, a resident of Sheikupura and Khurshid Bibi hailing from Faisalabad. The sources said the women were shifted to their hometowns in Punjab after a local court released them.
