LAHORE Provincial Minister for Women Development Hameeda Waheed-ud-Din has said the daycare centres are being set up at various institutions across the province for the benefit of working women. A sum of Rs. 200 million will be spent on this project during the current fiscal year, she said. She was addressing the inaugural ceremony of daycare centres at Government Degree College for Women Model Town and the Mayo Hospital on Tuesday. Principal Aatiqa Tanvir, Medical Superintendent Mayo Hospital Dr. Amjad Shehzad, teachers, students, doctors and paramedical staff were also present. The minister said the women constituted 52 percent population of the country. Mina victims: Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafria Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi has said that delay in provision of information about all martyrs, injured and missing persons in Mina stampede is really unfortunate.
