LAHORE:The University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS) in collaboration with the university’s Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) arranged an informative “PhD Scholars workshop on HEC Graduate Policy 2023” at City Campus on Thursday.
Addressing the participants, Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani said objectives of the workshop were to create awareness among students regarding the HEC’s Graduate Policy 2023 and also to get the feedback from the participants regarding graduate policy to evaluate it.
Various aspects related to the PhD degree programme including admission criteria, PhD course work, comprehensive exam, thesis, research paper, write up and similarity index, etc. were discussed.
Meanwhile a walk to raise awareness among the public about malaria prevention and control on ‘World Malaria Day’ and a walk to observe international DNA Day were also held at the UVAS.
