LAHORE Two children were killed in a collision between a truck and a motorcycle-rickshaw near Saggian Bridge in Shahdara police limits on Wednesday. The victims were identified as Zain, son of Shahbaz, 10, and Sajid, son of Riasat, 8, of Sharaqpur. The injured was identified as Arshad. Truck driver fled the scene after leaving the truck. The children were returning home from a factory in a motorcycle-rickshaw when truck C-1494 (Peshawar) collided with it. TRANSFERRED: DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf issued orders of transfer and posting of eight SHOs. Hayer Police Station SHO Inspector Ishtiaq Ahmad was suspended and sent to police lines. Inspector Shahid Ali from Police Lines was posted as SHO Kahna Police Station. Inspector Rizwan Nawaz from Police Lines was posted as SHO Model Town. Inspector Arham from Lower Mall Police Station was posted as SHO Shahdara Police Station. Sub-inspector Waqas-ul-Hassan from Police Lines was posted as additional SHO Lower Mall Police Station. Sub-inspector Muhammad Asghar from Kahna Police Station was posted as additional SHO Shalimar and additional SHO Lower Mall Police Station Sub-inspector Aolad Hussain was ordered to give general duty. TRAFFIC: CCPO inaugurated new building of Naulakha Traffic Sector and Learners Booth. CTO Tayyab Hafiz Cheema, SP City Traffic Asif Siddique, SP Sadr Traffic, Nida Chatha, SP Headquarters, Rana Shujat and Tasleem Shujat were present.
