Investigation police arrested 75 illicit arms carriers under national action programme and recovered weapons worth Rs5 million from their possession during the last two weeks.
Police recovered Kalashnikovs, 41 rifles, 84 mausers and bullets from their possession. Police arrested the illicit arms carriers from the areas of Chung, Badami Bagh, Misri Shah, Shafiqabad, Shahdara, Factory Area, Baghbanpura, Hunjarwal, Manga Mandi, Sherakot, Sattukatla and Gulshan Iqbal.
