LAHORE
A 31-year-old man wounded on Monday by his cousins over an issue succumbed to his injuries in hospital on Wednesday.
Police registered a case on the complaint of Nasreen Bibi alias Irshad Bibi, wife of the victim, against accused Shahid, son of Khizar Hayat and Muhammad Munir alias Muniri.
The deceased was identified as Muhammad Saleem of Khana Nepal, Raiwind. Muhammad Waseem, son of the victim, told his father that accused Shahid and Munir had beaten him. The victim went out of his house and exchanged hot words with the accused who shot and injured him. The victim was admitted to Jinnah Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police were conducting raids to arrest the accused.
BODY FOUND: A 60-year-old man was found dead in the Gawalmandi Police limits. Police removed the body to morgue for autopsy. A passerby informed the police about the man lying unconscious near the Mayo Hospital. Police reached the scene and rushed the victim to the hospital where the doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
BURIED: Edhi Foundation buried four bodies in Miani Sahib Graveyard. Two dead bodies were recovered from Qila Gujjar Singh Police limits. The third body was recovered from Data Darbar Police limits and the fourth body was found from the Shafeeq Abad Police. Police suspected that the dead people were beggars and died of cold and excessive use of drugs.
