Two people including a young boy were gunned down in separate incidents on Sunday.
Twenty-year-old Naveed Khan was shot at outside his residence by two men, riding a motorcycle, near Manghopir road within the ambit of the Sir Syed Town police station.
He died on his way to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH).
According to SHO Sir Syed Town police station, Yousufzai, the deceased was killed due to some personal enmity.
A shop owner and two of his employees were shot at on offering resistance to robbers inside a shop, situated in Nazimabad No 3.
Farooq, 45, and his employees, Haroon and Ismail, were ordered to hand over all the cash after being held hostage on gunpoint by three unidentified men, in his shop Bismillah General Store.
The men successfully managed to rob the shop and flee before the police arrived. The injured were on the way to the ASH when Farooq breathed his last.
