Five judges dismissed from service for corruption, inefficiency

Sindh High Court Chief Justice Faiasl Arab on Thursday dismissed five judicial officers from service over corruption, inefficiency, misconduct and unauthorised absence from duty.
The orders were issued on the recommendation of an authorised officer. According to the orders issued by the chief justice, Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate Badaruddin Memon was dismissed on charges of corruption and Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate Ali Gul Khaskheli was removed on charges of inefficiency and corruption.
Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate Abul Ala Jatoi was sacked for not joining duty for more than one year, while Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate Adam H Ishaque Sanghar was compulsorily retired from service on charges of inefficiency and corruption.
Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate Samina Alim’s job was terminated on charges of misconduct and unauthorised absence from duty for more than six years.
Her review application was also dismissed by the chief justice on the recommendation of the authorised officer.
