Lyari gangsters among six arrested

Rangers rounded up six suspects, including Lyari gangsters, in separate raids on Monday.
A Rangers spokesman said the raids were conducted near Dawood Chowrangi, Quaidabad and Muhammadi Colony and weapons and machines used for making fake ID cards and other documents were seized.
Tense situation
Situation in Lyari remained tense a day after Munib alias Maab Baloch, one of the most notorious gangsters, was killed in a Rangers shootout.
Rangers spokesman said Baloch was an important commander and was wanted in dozens of cases. He reiterated the Rangers resolve to continue its efforts against criminal elements. He urged the Lyari residents to come foraward to give information about gangsters, assuring them of confidentiality.
