BARA: The All Teachers Association on Monday asked Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan to transfer the Agency Education Officer (AEO) in Khyber Agency after accusing him of shutting the community schools. A meeting of the agency teachers was held at Bagh-e-Naran in Hayatabad. It was presided over by the president of the association, Naseer Shah Afridi. Other teachers including Sher Rehman, Khair Muhammad, and Naeem Jan attended the meeting. The speakers said that AEO Attiqur Rehman had deprived the children of education by closing down the community schools in Khyber Agency. They alleged the official terminated scores of teachers and Class-IV employees who were later reinstated by the political agent, Fata Director Education, secretary education and courts.
