Protest against Sepco

SUKKUR: Hundreds of people staged a protest demonstration against the Sukkur Electric Power Company (Sepco) and the apathy of the officials of the power company.
The protestors said that the superintendent engineer (SE) along with executive engineers, SDOs had held Open Katcheries in different areas to address complaints regarding over reading, detection, and wrong billings. They said that the SE and XENs during Open Katcheries had recovered millions of rupees with a commitment to wave off the unjustified amount of wrong readings, detection and over billings.
The protestors said that all the tall claims made by Sepco official have badly failed as the power company could not provide any relief to its clients.The SE and executive engineers concerned said that definitely they had held Open Katcheries to address complaints of the clients and had announced relief for the people.
