NAB probe proves illegal allotment of plot to official

ISLAMABAD: The investigation of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has established that the allotment of National Police Foundation (NPF) plot to one of the top officials of the Interior Ministry is illegal and that the Foundation created a plot specifically for the said official, who later sold it within hours of the allotment, well-placed sources in NAB disclosed to The News. The sources maintain that the Prime Minister’s Secretariat has been unofficially conveyed about the findings of the probe and an action against the official is expected shortly. In the first phase, the government is likely to make the said official Officer on Special Duty (OSD), sources in PM Secretariat said.
