LWMC takes precautionary steps against coronavirus

LAHORE: The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) has strictly directed all staffers to take maximum preventive measures against pandemic coronavirus. It was stated that all employees must wear facemasks and keep their hands clean. On the directions of the LWMC managing director, dispensers of hand washing liquid have been placed in all washrooms of the Metro Bus Service stations. The directions for preventive measures to both international contractors were also issued by the LWMC that all employees of LWMC contractors must take precautionary measures against coronavirus. The LWMC chairman directed that any worker or officer found not wearing mask would be fined. The LWMC MD said the department was strictly following the preventive measures strategy against coronavirus. A spokesperson for LWMC said citizens could play an important role in defeating the virus by keeping Lahore and themselves clean.
