The other day, there was a PIA plane at the Islamabad airport which was sporting the old PIA livery, the one used in the 1960s. Surprisingly, this was a Boeing 777, one of the planes introduced more recently.
To see a new PIA plane painted with old graphics was interesting. It brought back memories going back 40 years. This not only rekindled the remembrances of a bygone era, but also brought back the glories for which PIA was known in the world over. Now that PIA has revived the old design, perhaps it can also bring back its old service standards.
