This refers to the news report, ‘Is there a state or law of jungle, asks Qaim’ (August 29). This question can better be answered by Qaim Ali Shah himself. For the past seven years the province has seen massive corruption, money laundering, tax evasion, smuggling, extortion, land grabbing, ghost employees, mafias, etc.
All this has been happening under the very nose of the chief minister. As chief executive of the province, the responsibility for good governance and controlling crime in the province squarely lies with Qaim Ali Shah who did not take any action to stop the loot and plunder of the resources of Sindh. With all institutions politicised, the law of the jungle has been prevailing in Sindh.
