Sixth important member of Ladi gang held

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Following the strategy of District Police Officer (DPO) Umar Saeed Malik, Dera Ghazi Khan police succeeded in arresting the sixth important member of the Ladi gang on Monday.

The police detained Chakar alias Chakri, who surrendered himself to the police and reportedly his surrender would weaken the Ladi gang to a greater extent.

According to sources, due to effective actions of police now the gang was near extinction in the area.

Talking to reporters, the DPO said Chakar was wanted by police in ten heinous crimes and since May 25, six key members of the Ladi gang had been arrested.
