Four killed in Haripur incidents
HARIPUR: Four people were killed in various parts of the district on Thursday, police said.
Two persons committed suicide, police and hospital sources said. Qabail Khan, 24, a resident of Hattar village, shot himself over unknown reasons. Also in village Alooli, Hasnain Hussain Shah, 17, also shot himself with a 30 bore pistol and died before being shifted to hospital. According to police, the reason behind the suicides was scolding by maternal uncle over some family matter.
In village Talokar, one Aftab Ahmad was electrocuted when he was attempting to fix the fault of his room’s electric wiring.
Also, the police said that Mujtaba Anwar, a van driver, was injured critically when the van fell into a roadside gorge near Pind Muneem. He was shifted to Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad where he succumbed to head injuries.
