Meera seeks protection from land grabbers

LAHORE: Actress Meera has appealed to the authorities concerned to protect her life and her family members from the land mafia trying to grab her family property.

She broke down into tears during a press conference at Lahore Press Club on Tuesday along with her mother, brother and lawyer. With trembling voice, she feared the lives of her family were in great danger from alleged mafia chief named Mian Shahid who was hurling life threats at them. She demanded the government arrest the grabber immediately. Meera said she had recently returned to Pakistan after six months stay aboard, during which, the grabber attempted on her mother’s life.
